Idaho Senate Agriculture Presentation
Boise -- Idaho Wheat Commission Executive Director, Blaine Jacobson reported to the Senate Agricultural Affairs Committee yesterday. Jacobson reviewed IWC audit and finances and updated the committee on wheat production in Idaho, production costs, world wheat supplies and wheat prices.
All five of Idaho wheat commissioners were able to attend yesterday's presentation to the Senate Ag Committee, providing them the opportunity to meet one on one with with committee members.

Idaho Wheat Commission Meets Today
Today Chairman Joe Anderson has scheduled the following meetings for the Idaho Wheat Commission:
February 23: IWC meeting 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
February 24: Research Review 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
February 24: IWC meeting 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
February 25: IWC meeting 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Idaho Wheat Commission conference room, Boise, Idaho (821 W. State Street).
Agenda items will include budget discussions, a review of IWC financial statements and information & education updates. Research Review will cover research proposals submitted to the IWC by the University of Idaho, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
All interested producers are welcome to attend. If hearing impaired or handicapped, assistance will be provided upon request. For additional information call (208) 334-2353.
